• The defenition of Procedure Text

Procedure text is a text that is designed to describe how something is achieved through a sequence of actions or steps.

• Generic structure

1. Goal ( title)

2. Materials ( ingredients, utensils, equipment to do the instruction)

3. Steeps ( asset of instruction to achive the final purpose)

• Language features

1. focus on generalized human agent

2. use of simple present tense

3. use of imperatives

4. use of action verbs

5. use of connectives

6. use of adverbial phrases

• It also uses the temporal conjunction such as first, second, then, next, finally, etc.

• Example :

How to make a Pop Ice

Materials:

1. 1 Pop Ice
2. 3/4 cup of ice
3. 100 ml of water
4. 1 spoon of milk
5. 1 spoon of ceres

Steps:

1. First, dissolve Pop Ice into 100 ml of water
2. Second, add 3/4 cup of ice and shake
3. Next, add 1 spoon of milk
4. Finally, add 1 spoon of ceres
